Young Adults

Hundreds of thousands of young adults in Israel reach adulthood without proper support or guidance to take a step towards employment. Many grew up in poverty-stricken families and never completed their education; many simply lack faith in their own capabilities to build a better future. Approximately 220,000 Israelis between 22-34 are chronically unemployed, 200,000 of whom are considered disadvantaged. JDC-TEVET programming for young adults at risk aims to provide guidance and build confidence while offering training to enter the workforce.
